Regardless of the socially acceptable circumstance, the reality is that those two individuals lay down together alone. The major issues I see often is that whether we as a society has an opinion or not, it's not going to deter two individuals that want to be together. It ultimately comes back to, who and why do people care, when they do
Interesting! But I think that's the thing: we can't remove the issue of society's acceptance, as that's the main reason people become fascinated with these kinds of relationships imo.
Yeah, I think if both parties are over a certain age, I'd agree. But if one person is substantially younger and more vulnerable, I reckon people have a right to find it a bit odd!
"Perhaps in a situation where anyone isn’t sure whether they’re being manipulated or not, it could be helpful to look back over the dating history of that particular person, to see whether you are the circumstance…or the habit." <--- Interesting opinion n also kinda true. However, if you are the 1st person this particular individual dating, you will have no references. Lol
I dated a 60yr old at 19, the legal age in my country is 18. A great experience by all means YET looking back it was concerning as I was still a teen and easy to be manipulated.
Yes! I think, as long as both parties are at an age where it's not concerning/obvious manipulation, we need to listen to what people are actually saying about how they feel in their relationship, rather than just judging for the sake of it 😊

So... the conversation continues 🙏
I would opine that it’s the couple’s business.
